Will Pride be the Fall of Judge Greer?

It was amazing, but today Judge Greer rules that the Florida DCF is not allowed to do its job and investigate the Terri Schiavo matter. He further ruled, against the law, that Terri Schiavo also cannot be fed through natural means. DCF has informed the judge that it cannot impede the investigation and they may even just take her into protective custody anyway.

It might not look so good at first glance. But I see a reason to hope. Fence sitting law makers will be wondering why their laws are being flouted. DCF has authority and they don't take kindly to a judge telling them they shouldn't do it. I'm not sure if it is a matter of being paid off or human pride, but Judge Greer is very obviously wanting to put this woman to death now and in such a flagrant way that can anyone really start to ask questions?

Why can't she be fed naturally?

What are they trying to hide so desperately?

More than anyone else, it will be Judge Greer that will push the tide towards the passage of Florida HB 701 because the legislature will start to see again that there is something going on. Judge Greer didn't rule that Michael can remove the feeding tube, Judge Greer ordered that tube out and that Terri be put to death. He has ordered the cessation of all medical care. He has ordered no attempt be made to feed her naturally. He has ordered that DCF not investigate the claims of abuse.

Contact the Florida Government and tell them to put this fiasco to an end. Tell them to pass HB 701, tell them to give Terri rehabilitation.
